7\/25\/2011 <\/em><\/strong><\/div>\n

The bar is kind of dark and has no AC so its warm in the Summer, but that doesn’t take away from it’s very traditional dive atmosphere.<\/p>\n

They have cheap\/moderate drinks and have a surprisingly decent selection. (A nice Pino Noir at a dive? Who knew.)<\/p>\n

The bartenders are cool, but remember there is usually only one, so if they are not at the bar they may be smoking outside or in the back restocking.<\/p>\n

The best park about the VR is the trivia (why its 4-5 star rating). They have awesome Wednesday night trivia with a really great group of people. The DJ totally rocks, and is super funny. He tells some great dirty jokes too. <\/strong><\/p>\n

There is food right next door (Thai and Mexican) and 7-11 is nearby.<\/p>\n

The only problem is parking, there is a really small lot and just residential parking. So please if you do park by people’s houses make sure you are not blocking people’s gates\/driveways\/doors. I know a lot of retired people who get blocked in, so be respectful. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

I have never been to a trivia night regularly until we got invited by chance to play at the Villa Roma with Cris as the DJ (TJ for trivia DJ?). I seriously go every week now.<\/p>\n

While the Villa Roma was scary and dark (it’s an older local bar) Chris was funny, had great trivia questions, engaged the whole bar and was all around rockin’ creating a really fun environment for a range of people.<\/p>\n

We had ages from 21 to over 60 having a great time, there was lots of banter and some serious trivia.<\/p>\n

5 stars because Chris is really great with people and finds a way to make things fun for everyone. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
